Friselle di Altamura (350g)
These donut shaped Italian rusk biscuits are made using natural ingredients and a traditional recipe which has its roots in the city of Altamura, Puglia Italy. The "Friselle" crispbread is made using high quality durum wheat from this region.
The rusk toasts are baked using the natural leavening process which allows the bread dough to mature for several hours. This produces the distinctive golden colour and crisp, crunchy texture. Served as a savoury snack with olive oil and chopped tomatoes just like a bruschetta
